The impact and influence the nominee had on the Muslim word:

Saima is also the head coordinator for several Dawah projects. She's been certified for several courses such as the Ma Sha Allah star award from Misbah Gems, The Fiqh of Marriage, Dawah Course and Leadership in Islam. She is a well known debater and has always left a profound impact in her first attempt. In 2013 she was the only Muslimah who was selected to go for a debate in YALE University, New Jersey leaving everyone spellbound with her words. Her volunteering work has always been conducted if and only it has something to do with Dawah. She has been able to convince and persuade people to revert to Islam simply by her personality and actions. She has given so many Muslim women a chance to express themselves keeping in mind the Islam rules and boundaries. When I first saw her I myself realized then BBC news always tell us women are oppressed in Islam but Saima's actions and work contradict all of that. I can proudly say I'm the happiest Muslimah to be involved in her work knowing that it is the best form of Sadaqah Jari'ah.

The impact and influence the nominee had on the world and humanity:

Saima is definitely the most deserving of the award. The impact Saima has brought upon is tremendous for someone of her age and caliber. She has single handedly changed the mindset of not only me, but several others. Watching her doing her volunteering activities with so much passion, enthusiasm and dedication, makes just about anyone want to pitch in with the motive of making the world a better place. Every little good deed counts, even the tiniest ones, from providing food/water/basic aid to a laborer, or helping a kitten move away from the road, is something I've learned from Saima Khan. Personally, she has had a great impact on me as an individual. I've felt like I've improved my own personality and way of thinking over the year, just by being friends with her and volunteering with her, and I bet there are many others who feel the same, and I most definitely believe it will continue on like this, with better results guaranteed in the future, if she receives the recognitions she deserves, which is this award.

How the nominee’s activities and achievement will continue to impact and influence in the future:

Surely my nominee, Saima Khan, will influence the audience due to the fact that she is at a quite young and feeble age, which just leads her to putting in more effort and determination that will motivate others into following her footsteps.Volunteers like Saima deliver critical services—from serving as volunteer fire fighters or participating in search and rescue, to delivering meals to homebound seniors or homeless youth, to manning the phone lines at domestic violence and sexual assault centers. Saima helps to keep our neighborhoods, streets, parks, rivers, green spaces, and water clean and safe for everyone which we need for the 21st century. Saima along with her friends manage to educate the public on health and safety; doctors and nurses donate time and medical knowledge to free clinics and natural/civil disaster areas worldwide. We need someone like this who can change the way people act , change the way people think and change their style of beliefs.

I feel Saima's work will not only be successful and inspiring but will continue for the following reasons: Reduces stress: Experts report that when you focus on someone other than yourself, it interrupts usual tension-producing patterns. Makes you healthier: Moods and emotions, like optimism, joy, and control over one's fate, strengthen the immune system. Volunteering provides valuable community services so more money can be spent on local improvements. Uniting people from diverse backgrounds to work toward a common goal Building camaraderie and teamwork Support families (daycare and eldercare) Improve schools (tutoring, literacy) Support youth (mentoring and after-school programs) Beautify the community (beach and park cleanups) Volunteers learn things like these: Self: Volunteers discover hidden talents that may change your view on your self worth. Government: Through working with local non-profit agencies, volunteers learn about the functions and operation of our government. Community: Volunteers gain knowledge of local resources available to solve community needs. People like to support community resources that they use themselves or that benefit people they care about. Community service and volunteerism are an investment in our community and the people who live in it.
