Khalid's current role is the Founder and CEO of Glowork a women empowerment initiative that has created thousands of jobs for women. This led Glowork to be awarded the Best innovation globally for job creation by the UN, ILO and World Bank. He is a proud Ashoka Fellow, a Global Shaper (representing Saudi Arabia) at the World Economic Forum as well as the Riyadh Hub Curator. Khalid was a key asset in establishing Deutsche Gulf Finance's brand, corporate identity and presence in the Saudi market as a leader in the mortgage industry. Khalid also held the role of COO- Markets at KPMG in Saudi, Kuwait and Jordan which helped him secure an expertise insight into all the key aspects of strategic and successful marketing and strategy. Khalid managed to lead the firms he worked with to over 30 key awards which were aligned to the firm's overall corporate goals and strategy.
Khalid is an active writer and contributor international publications such as the Huffington Post, as well as publishing a book entitled "Communicating effectively in the work place". All this led him to being awarded the Excellence in Entrepreneurship award at the Global Thinkers Forum, The Best Head of Marketing in the Middle East, Saint Mary’s University Young Alumni of the year, Ranked #3 in the 30 under 30 Gulf Business Magazine powerlist and ranked in the top 500 most powerful Arabs by Arabian Business Magazine. Khalid also sits on a number of Advisory boards throughout the Globe such as the CMO Council Advisory Board, the Country Officer for Women Campaign International (ALWANE), Steering committee member at the Ministry of Labor in Saudi Arabia, Steering committee member for talent mobility at the World Economic Forum, Advisory Member at Saudi Broadcasting, a judge at the Hult Prize, Employment Committee Member at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Advisory Board Member at DAF Consulting Firm, and a mentor at the Founders Institute at Silicon Valley.

Glowork company is the first website dedicated for women empowerment throughout the Middle East. Glowork has helped create over 2000 vacancies for women in Saudi Arabia alone, from over 130 companies. In its short existence, Glowork has been recognized as the ideal solution provider when it comes to fully fledged career advisory for females. Recently they launched a breakthrough innovation which aims to create thousands of jobs for women in the Kingdom to work from home. This has led to endorsements by International and a local leader such as the Minister of Labor in Saudi Arabia and being recognized at the World Economic Forum as a “Best Practices” initiative that promotes gender equality and promotes diversity within the workplace.

The impact and influence the nominee had on the world and humanity:

Khalid AlKhudair is one of the young Saudi entrepreneurs who formed Glowork Recruitment Company in 2011, aiming to bring empowerment to women and increase diversity in the Saudi workforce. As it is the first dedicated organization in Saudi Arabia where its online portal considered being a platform that links female jobseekers and employers. From an offline perspective, Glowork also has a headhunting arm which conducts the filtering, screening, interviewing and mentoring for Saudi females, as well as them operating the first public female career fair. In 2012 Glowork became a private public partnership with the Ministry of Labor. In September 2013, Glowork was acquired for 16 million USD by SAS Holding which bought 51% of the organization

How the nominee’s activities and achievement will continue to impact and influence in the future:

Glowork has a system that will allows women to work virtually from home which will help to create opportunities for them in rural areas. Alongside that, Glowork will conduct a Career fair for the second time on 6th & 7th of April. This career fair is exclusively for Saudi women to expose them to job opportunities and to encourage them to become active members of the workforce in Saudi Arabia. Saudi female jobseekers who are looking for career opportunities will be encouraged to attend.
